Terms of Service

Last updated: July 2026

1. Acceptance

By creating an account or using CaseDesk ("the Service") you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. What the Service does

CaseDesk provisions and operates dedicated AI inference deployments on managed GPU infrastructure in UK and EU data centres. You receive a private OpenAI-compatible API endpoint to use with your applications. CaseDesk owns and operates the underlying hardware and cloud accounts; you do not need to provide your own cloud credentials.

3. Billing and usage

  • Usage is billed in GPU-hours. The rate for your deployment tier is shown on the pricing page and confirmed at checkout.
  • Billing is processed by Stripe. Your payment method is charged at the end of each billing period or when a usage threshold is reached.
  • Deployments that are idle for more than one hour on the Developer Sandbox tier are automatically suspended. Dedicated tiers remain active until you manually stop or delete them.
  • You are responsible for all charges incurred under your account, including charges resulting from unauthorised use of your API key.

4. Acceptable use

  • You must not use the Service to generate, distribute, or process illegal content.
  • You must not attempt to access, interfere with, or disrupt other customers' deployments or CaseDesk infrastructure.
  • You must not resell or sublicense access to your inference endpoint without written permission from CaseDesk.
  • Automated abuse, credential stuffing, or any activity that places unreasonable load on shared infrastructure is prohibited.

5. Your responsibilities

  • Keep your account credentials and API keys secure. Do not share them with unauthorised parties.
  • Ensure any models you request to be deployed are licenced for your use case.
  • Comply with all applicable laws and regulations in your jurisdiction, including data protection law when sending personal data to the inference endpoint.

6. Data and privacy

CaseDesk does not log or store the content of your API requests or model responses. Your inference data stays within the region you selected at deployment. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

7. Service availability

We aim for high availability but the Service is provided without a guaranteed uptime SLA on standard tiers. Enterprise Isolation customers receive an SLA as part of their contract. We may perform maintenance that temporarily reduces availability and will provide reasonable advance notice where possible.

8. Intellectual property

CaseDesk retains all rights to the platform software and infrastructure. You retain all rights to the applications you build using the API and to any data you send to the Service. Open-source model weights served by CaseDesk are subject to their respective licences.

9. Termination

You may cancel your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with or without notice. On termination, your deployment is stopped and outstanding usage is billed to the payment method on file.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CaseDesk is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability to you in any calendar month will not exceed the amount you paid us in that month.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
